Deborah Norville is an American businesswoman and TV journalist, best known as the anchor of ‘Inside Edition,’ a TV news magazine. Born and raised in Georgia, Deborah was a beauty-pageant participant as a child and developed an interest in TV journalism at a young age. She graduated in journalism from the ‘University of Georgia’ and started her career with an internship at ‘Georgia Public Television.’ She eventually started working at ‘WAGA-TV’ in Atlanta. All the while, she was a university student pursuing her graduation in journalism. She faced a big turning point of her career when she interviewed President Jimmy Carter in 1979. In the mid-1980s, she bagged a job offer to anchor a morning news show on ‘NBC News.’ She started anchoring the show ‘Inside Edition’ in 1995. Deborah has won two ‘Emmy Awards’ for her journalistic abilities. Apart from being a famous TV journalist, she happens to be a successful ‘New York Times’ bestselling author. Since March 2013, she has also been serving as a member of the board of directors of ‘Viacom Corporation.’
