Nicknamed Cuban Missile, American-Cuban stock car racer Aric Almirola began racing nationally at the age of fourteen, earning several awards before beginning his NASCAR career with the Camping World Truck series in 2005.  Currently, full-time competitor in the NASCAR Cup Series, he has so far appeared in 386 races, winning among others the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 race in 2021.
