Mark Moseley is an American former straight on placekicker in the National Football League (NFL). During his stint as a footballer, he had played for four teams, the Philadelphia Eagles, Houston Oilers, Washington Redskins, and Cleveland Browns. In the strike-shortened 1982 season, he made 20 of 21 field goals and became the second placekicker to win the Associated Press NFL Most Valuable Player award. Brought up in Livingston, Texas, Moseley began playing as a quarterback in his high school. After school, he made the switch to a placekicker at Stephen F. Austin State University. He was selected 346th overall by Philadelphia Eagles in the 1970 NFL Draft. After emerging as one of the finest placekickers over the years, Moseley retired in 1986. Currently, he works as the Director of Franchising for the fast casual restaurant chain Five Guys. On the personal front, he is a father of five and grandfather of 13.
