Tom Coughlin is the executive vice president of football operations for the ‘National Football League’ (NFL) team ‘Jacksonville Jaguars’ and the former head coach of the ‘NFL’ team ‘New York Giants.’ Born and raised in Waterloo, New York, he played football and basketball during his high-school years. He attended ‘Syracuse University’ following his high-school graduation and played football there. He assisted Bill Parcells when he was the head coach of the ‘New York Giants.’ In 1970, Tom became a head coach for the first time when he coached the football team at the ‘Rochester Institute of Technology.’ In the early 1980s, he became a wide receivers coach for the ‘Philadelphia Eagles’ of the ‘NFL’ and worked at the same position for the ‘Giants’ and the ‘Packers.’ Following the 1990 season, he returned to ‘Boston College’ and became a head coach. In 1995, he was hired to be the head coach of the ‘Jacksonville Jaguars,’ a job that made him earn respect for his strict disciplinary measures. In 2004, he invited nationwide attention when he was hired to coach the ‘New York Giants.’ He held this position for 12 years, becoming one of the most famous head coaches in the history of ‘NFL.’
