John C McGinley is an American character actor. Equally comfortable in bringing comic and eccentric characters to life, McGinley started his career with Alan Alda’s ‘Sweet Liberty’ in 1986. The graph of his career has risen steeply since then. The popular actor has won hearts with his portrayal of ‘Dr. Perry Cox’ in the American TV series ‘Scrubs.’ He has also written and produced films and TV shows. Making a plausible use of his position as a public figure, McGinley has consistently made an effort to raise awareness about the disease known as Down syndrome. He is presently a board member and the international spokesperson for the ‘Global Down Syndrome Foundation.’ He is also a spokesperson for the ‘National Down Syndrome Society.’
