(American Professional Golfer and Golf Broadcaster) Ken Venturi was an American golfer who won 14 PGA Tour events, including the 1964 U.S. Open, despite suffering from various injuries throughout his playing career. In 1964, he was named PGA Player of the Year as well as the Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year. Venturi was made an inductee of the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2013.
