Yvette Wilson was an American actress and comedian. She is best remembered for her role as Andell Wilkerson on the sitcom ‘Moesha’ and its spinoff ‘The Parkers’. She also appeared in several comedy movies, including ‘Friday’, ‘House Party 3’, and 'Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood'. Before pursuing acting, Wilson majored in communications from San Jose State University. She started off as a standup comedian, touring the comedy club circuit. In 1992, she landed roles in Hollywood and worked consistently in both television shows and films. In the later years of her career, Wilson worked in real estate and also managed a record label called Fat Daddy Records. Behind the screen, she was married to record producer Jerome Harry until her death in 2012. The talented actress died at the relatively young age of 48, after battling cervical cancer.
