Dean Cain is an American actor, producer, TV host, and former footballer. He was born in Michigan. However, soon after his birth, he and his older brother, Roger, were taken to Los Angeles by their mother. Dean was later adopted by his mother’s second husband, director Christopher Cain. Dean attended Princeton, where he dated Brooke Shields. Dean was initially a footballer for the Buffalo Bills, but an injury ended his football career. Dean then appeared in TV commercials and did bit roles. He made a breakthrough with the role of Clark Kent/Superman in the series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman in 1993. Over the years, he formed his own production company and also starred as an actor or a host in a huge number of projects, such as Ripley's Believe It or Not!, Stars Earn Stripes, Hit the Floor, The Choice, and 10 Million Dollar Bigfoot Bounty. He has a son with a former girlfriend but has never been married.
