Description:
(Political Commentator, Author and Blogger)
Michelle Malkin (née Maglalang) is an American conservative blogger, political commentator, author, and entrepreneur. Her parents are Filipino immigrants who came to the US shortly before her birth, on an employer-sponsored visa. Educated at ‘Oberlin College,’ she decided to become a journalist when her article on ‘Oberlin's affirmative action program was vehemently opposed by her fellow students. Later, she joined the ‘Los Angeles Daily News,’ where she learned to produce quick but unexpected copies that provoked strong reader reaction. Thereafter, she worked for some years at ‘The Seattle Times,’ eventually quitting her job to become a nationally syndicated columnist with ‘Creators Syndicate.’ Apart from becoming a guest on ‘MSNBC,’ ‘C-SPAN,’ and various national radio programs, she was a ‘Fox News’ contributor, too. In 2016, she started working for ‘CRTV.’ An anti-liberal, she believes that the American way of life is being destroyed by illegal immigrants and maintains that getting the US citizenship is a privilege and not a right.
