American comedian, actor, game show presenter, producer, and screenwriter Billy Eichner is best known to global audiences for his Funny or Die comedy game show Billy on the Street, which he also created and executive-produced. The show earned Eichner a nomination for the Daytime Emmy Award and 2 nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award. He is also known to fans for his portrayal of Craig Middlebrooks in the sitcom Parks and Recreation. He has voiced Mr. Ambrose in the animated series Bob's Burgers and Timon in the 2019 live-action remake of The Lion King. A Northwestern University alumnus, he began his full-fledged acting career with a New York stage show. Openly gay, he also wrote and appeared in the 2022 film Bros, which narrated the story of 2 gay men. A prominent Democrat, Eichner launched the Glam Up the Midterms initiative in 2018, to motivate people to vote.
