Jake Weber is an English film, television and theatre actor best known for his roles in the movies ‘Dawn of the Dead’ and ‘Meet Joe Black’. He is also recognised for his role as ‘Joe DuBois’ in the long-running television series ‘Medium’. As a child, he had a very unusual upbringing, living a fast life with parents who were at the centre of London’s social life. His drug-dealing father used him as a drug mule and he also famously rolled marijuana joints for legendary rock bands at a very tender age. After completing his education at a series of institutions, he sought out work in Hollywood and began his career with small parts in A-list films. After his breakout role in the remake of ‘Dawn of the Dead’, he started getting substantial roles and regular work in films and television. As a theatre veteran, he has performed on Broadway, off-Broadway and regional theatre too. He is a series regular on several hit television and Netflix dramas like ‘Homeland’ and ’13 Reasons Why’, and continues to act in films too.
