Shareef O'Neal is an American college basketball player who is currently associated with the UCLA basketball team. Born to a former NBA star, Shareef naturally turned to sports at a young age. He started training for basketball in his early teens and soon earned a spot in his high-school team at Windward High School. His impressive defence, rebounds, and dunks earned him a solid reputation and his videos went viral on social media. Soon enough, Shareef O’Neal had gathered enough publicity and many universities offered him a scholarship. He continued playing at an impressive pace with his school and eventually decided to join UCLA at the university level. However, before making a debut during the freshman year, Shareef was diagnosed with a rare heart condition. He subsequently underwent a surgery; three months later, he was declared fit to play the game. His declaration that he was returning to basketball went viral on social media, and he eventually became a social media celebrity as well. He made his comeback in June 2019 at the Drew League. Shareef O'Neal is currently preparing to make his debut at UCLA and gathering his strength for a tougher regimen during the drafts.
