Shinkai Karokhail is an Afghan women's rights activist, politician, and diplomat. She is perhaps best known for her role as the Afghan ambassador to Canada. She is credited with co-founding the Afghan Women's Educational Center in 1991. In 2002, Shinkai Karokhail became the organization's director, heading its management and developmental programs.
