Mary Matalin is an American political strategist, consultant, commentator, public speaker, radio and TV presenter, and author, best known for her service to the ‘Republican Party’ in various capacities. She is an exceptional voice in the American political sphere. Though politics was not on her list of career choices initially, she realized her interest in the field when she joined the local and state-wide political campaigns in Illinois. She served the ‘Republican National Committee’ (RNC) for over 10 years and was an integral part of the George HW Bush and the Bush–Cheney administrations in the ‘White House.’ She is a well-respected TV and radio presenter and is considered one of the most important voices in America today. Her radio show ‘Both Sides Now’ is telecast over 100 radio channels all over the country. She shifted to the ‘Libertarian Party’ just before Trump’s presidential campaign started in 2016. Though there were speculations that her move was due to GOP’s choice of candidate that year, she maintained that it was completely based on the party’s principles and policies.
