Rosemarie Braddock DeWitt is an American stage, TV, and film actor. She is best known for starring in the series ‘Standoff’ and ‘United States of Tara’ and the films ‘Rachel Getting Married’ and ‘Your Sister's Sister.’ DeWitt has been featured in acclaimed roles in several films and TV productions. Her titular role of ‘Rachel’ in the comedy–drama film ‘Rachel Getting Married’ earned her many awards, including several critics’ awards. She also won accolades for her performance in the comedy–drama film ‘Your Sister's Sister.’ She appeared in her maternal great-grandfather James Walter Braddock’s biographical film ‘Cinderella Man.’ She has been featured in films such as ‘La La Land’ and ‘Promised Land.’ While working on films, DeWitt made her mark on TV, starring in the series ‘Standoff,’ ‘United States of Tara,’ and ‘The Last Tycoon.’ She also played a recurring role in ‘Mad Men’ and appeared in notable series such as ‘Rescue Me,’ ‘Sex and the City,’ and ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.’ Her stage performances include her appearances in ‘off Broadway’ plays such as ‘Danny and the Deep Blue Sea’ and ‘Small Tragedy.’
