Emily Bergl is an English–American stage, TV, and film actor, best known for her roles ‘Rachel Lang’ in the film ‘The Rage: Carrie 2,’ ‘Lisa Clarke’ in the miniseries ‘Taken,’ and ‘Annie O'Donnell’ in the TV series ‘Men in Trees.’ She is a graduate in English and theater. She attended a semester at the ‘National Theater Institute’ of ‘The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center,’ during her college years. Her ‘Broadway’ debut was with ‘A Lion in Winter,’ which won her a ‘FANY Award.’ Her big break came with the starring role of ‘Rachel Lang’ in the 1999 American supernatural horror ‘The Rage: Carrie 2’ that marked her debut on the big-screen. The same year, she also made her TV debut, appearing in a one-episode role in the American drama ‘Wasteland.’ She garnered her first significant TV role in the miniseries ‘Taken’ and went on to earn her first main role in a TV series with the American romantic comedy–drama ‘Men in Trees.’ She went on to star in films such as ‘Chasing Sleep,’ ‘Happy Campers,’ and ‘Blue Jasmine.’ She also featured in recurring roles in popular TV series such as ‘Desperate Housewives’ and ‘Southland.’ Besides acting, this ravishing diva has also made her mark as a cabaret singer.
