Laura San Giacomo is an American actress who is best known for playing Cynthia in the movie ‘Sex, Lies, and Videotape,’ Kit De Luca in the flick ‘Pretty Woman’ and Maya Gallo in NBC’s sitcom ‘Just Shoot Me’. A two-time Golden Globe Award nominee, Giacomo is also known for appearing in the dramas ‘Saving Grace’ and ‘NCIS’. Born to a paper mill owner, she discovered her passion for acting while attending high school. Following graduation from Carnegie Mellon School of Drama, she went on to act in several theatre productions and eventually landed roles in films and television. Since then, the hard-working actress has been routinely seen on the small and the big screen, performing challenging roles. A mother of one behind the curtains, Giacomo has been married twice. Her second marriage is to actor Matt Adler, who she wed in the year 2000. Besides acting, Giacomo likes horseback riding, ice skating, gymnastics, ballet dancing, tennis, and golf.
