Alyson Hannigan is an American actress best recognized for her roles as Michelle Flaherty in the ‘American Pie’ films, Willow Rosenberg in the TV series ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ and Lily Aldrin in the drama series ‘How I Met Your Mother’. She started appearing in commercials at the age of four and by the time she was 11, she had already entered Hollywood. Today, Hannigan is one of the most popular TV actresses in the industry. Her acting skills and ability to portray versatile characters are much appreciated by the critics. She has won numerous awards for her contributions to the small and the big screen, including one Saturn Award, one Young Hollywood Award, and two People's Choice Awards. The actress had a challenging childhood as her parents divorced when she was very young. Raised by a single mother, she started acting as a child to help contribute to the family income.
