Dave Rubin is an American political commentator, “YouTuber,” TV host, and former comedian, best known for creating and hosting the popular talk show ‘The Rubin Report.’ He was born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Long Island. After graduating high school, he studied political science at the ‘Binghamton University’ in New York City. He then began his career as a stand-up comedian. He performed in New York City for a few years and began his TV career as an intern with ‘The Daily Show.’ He had been a staunch leftist earlier but later turned to conservatism. After forming many comedy clubs, he started his own talk shows and podcasts, such as ‘The Ben and Dave Show’ and ‘Hot Gay Comics.’ Since 2013, he has been running a show called ‘The Rubin Report,’ which was earlier telecast on ‘The Young Turks,’ a progressive media organization. In 2016, he moved the show to ‘YouTube.’ Despite being gay and supporting same-sex marriage, he calls himself a classic liberal.
