(Politician) Sarat Kumar Kar was a writer and politician hailing from Odisha, India. A member of the Lok Sabha, he was elected thrice to the Odisha Legislative Assembly from Mahanga. When he was a young man, he met Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri who inspired him to join politics. As a writer, he wrote numerous articles and poetry.
