Bill Ford is an American entrepreneur and is the great-grandson of Henry Ford. He is the executive chairman of Ford Motor Company. Apart from his career, he is an environmentalist and has always been committed to developing environmentally friendly products and processes. His successes include founding the company’s first wildlife habitat at a plant location, and the first automotive plant in the world to use post-consumer materials in all of its plastic parts. He was also responsible for the company’s first business social corporate citizen report, outlining the economic, environmental and social impact of company products and operations around the world. He started his career in product development and held a variety of positions on his way up to reach where he is now. He transformed what was once a flaccid enterprise into a multi-million dollar company. Apart from his career, he is an avid football fan and is also the vice-chairman of the Detroit Lions in the NFL franchise.
