He is the founder of Entertainment Studios, a U.S. media company involved in television production, broadcasting, film production, and digital media. Allen began his career in stand-up comedy and later transitioned to television after appearing on The Tonight Show. He went on to host NBC's Real People and in 1993, he founded the company that would later become Entertainment Studios, establishing himself in the entertainment industry.
