John C. Malone is an American billionaire businessman, philanthropist, and landowner. He is chairman of ‘Liberty Media’ and ‘Liberty Global.’ He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and economics, and a master’s degree from ‘Johns Hopkins University’ in industrial management. He received a PhD in operations research from ‘Johns Hopkins University,’ before starting his own business. In 1963, he began working in the economic planning and R&D division of ‘AT&T’. He later worked at ‘McKinsey & Company’ and served as group Vice President at ‘General Instrument Corporation (GI). He later worked at higher positions in companies such as ‘Jerrold Electronics’ and ‘Tele-Communications Inc.’ In February 2019, became the largest individual private landowner in the country. He is also known for his philanthropic endeavours.
