Steven Robert Weber is an American actor who has garnered fame for portraying Brian Hackett in the NBC series ‘Wings’, Sam Blue in the ABC series ‘Once and Again’, and Vaughn du Clark in The CW series ‘iZombie’. He has also done extensive film and theatre works. Originally from New York, Weber attended Manhattan's High School of Performing Arts and the State University of New York at Purchase. When he was in the third grade, he began doing television commercials, and after finishing college, started his acting career on stage. In 1984, he made his screen debut in an episode of ‘American Playhouse’. His first cinematic appearance came in the same year, in the romance drama ‘The Flamingo Kid’. In the ensuing years, he has established himself as a prolific character actor with over 150 film and TV credits to his name. For his performance as Jack Torrance in the television miniseries ‘The Shining’, Weber received the OFTA Television Award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture or Miniseries in 1997 and Saturn Award for Best Genre TV Actor in 1998.
