David Krumholtz is an American actor best known for playing Charlie Eppes, a mathematical genius, in the CBS series ‘Numb3rs’ from 2005 to 2010. He is also recognized for appearing as Bernard the Elf in the ‘Santa Clause’ movie franchise, Seth Goldstein in the ‘Harold & Kumar’ trilogy and Barry Corman in the feature film ‘Life with Mikey’, which earned him a Young Artist Award nomination. Born in an “almost poor" Jewish family to a postal worker and dental assistant, Krumholtz went through a lot of adversities before he could pursue his dream career. His struggles and hardships, however, couldn’t stop him from achieving what he set his eyes on. Today, he has earned a lot of respect as a talented actor, with millions of people across the globe admiring him. On a personal note, Krumholtz is a thyroid cancer survivor who underwent a radioactive iodine treatment following which he was declared to be cancer-free in 2012. He is married to actress Vanessa Britting and has two children.
