Alex Borstein is an American actress, voice actress, writer, comedian, and producer who is known for her work in the TV series ‘MADtv,’ ‘Family Guy,’ and ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.’ She is a brilliant actress who manages to shine in every show even if she is not the main character. She is not only a talented actress, comedian and writer, but also has a distinctive voice and that is why Seth MacFarlane, the creator of ‘Family Guy,’ approached her to do voice-overs for the show. The show became a hit and made Borstein a star. The show also got her an Emmy Award for Outstanding Character Voice-over Performance. Interested in performing from a young age, she performed her first standup comedy act at the tender age of 16. The actress struggles with a serious disorder, hemophilia, that has also afflicted her daughter, brother, and uncle. She actively supports the National Hemophilia Foundation and works to raise awareness about this genetic disorder.
