Ron Perlman is an American veteran actor who has acted in over 230 films and television shows over the past four decades. Perlman is known for playing the character of ‘Vincent’ in the CBS fantasy drama series ‘Beauty and the Beast’ for which he received a Golden Globe Award. Over the years he has also appeared in several other popular television shows including ‘Bonkers’, ‘Phantom 2040’, and ‘Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm’(as a voice artist). He played the role of ‘Josiah Sanchez’ in ‘The Magnificent Seven’ and later appeared in the animated shows ‘Teen Titans’ and ‘Danny Phantom’ as a voice artist. During his lengthy acting career, Perlman has appeared in numerous film productions as well. His portrayal of the titular character in the film ‘Hellboy’ earned him a superhero stature in the fantasy superhero films genre. A versatile actor, he has also acted in popular films like ‘Enemy at the Gates’, ‘Blade II’, ‘Star Trek: Nemesis’, and 'Hoodlum & Son’. He was nominated for the ‘Gotham Award for Best Ensemble Cast’ for his role in the thriller film ‘The Last Winter’ along with the other actors in the movie.
