Giancarlo Stanton is an American professional baseball player, presently playing as an outfielder and designated hitter for the ‘New York Yankees’ of the ‘Major League Baseball.’ In 2014 he was signed by the ‘Miami Marlins’ to the largest contract in the history of team-sport for $325 million over 13 years. He was earlier known by the name ‘Mike Stanton.’ Born in Panorama City and raised in Tujunga, California, he was a three-sport player in high school, but chose to follow baseball.
