Kenya Moore is an American multi talented personality who has made a mark in the entertainment industry as a model, actress, television personality, film producer and director. She forayed into showbiz with modelling at age 14 and became a model for the Ebony Fashion Fair cosmetic line. She won the Miss Michigan USA event in 1993. Later that year she won the Miss USA title, and became the second African-American woman to achieve such feat. Representing her nation at the Miss Universe 1993 pageant she finished among the top six finalists. Following such exposure and recognition she embarked in the showbiz as an actress and over the years featured in several television productions like ‘The Celebrity Apprentice 7’ and ‘The Parent 'Hood’ and films like ‘I Know Who Killed Me’ and ‘Deliver Us From Eva’. Moving on she ventured as producer and director and worked in several projects including the thriller film ‘Trapped: Haitian Nights’. She set up her own company ‘Moore Vision Media’ that produced the erotic thriller ‘The Confidant’. Presently she can be seen playing one of the main roles in the American reality television series ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ where she features since 2012.
