Vanessa Kirby is an English stage, TV, and film actress. Kirby was spotted by the theatre director, David Thacker, when she was 21; subsequently, she went on to star in a series of plays at the Octagon Theatre Bolton with him. Her role in the hit production, ‘All My Sons’, won her a Rising Star Award early in her career. She slowly made the move from screen to stage and made her TV and film debuts early in the 2010s. Her early hits include the mini-series ‘Great Expectations’ and the comedy hit ‘About Time.’ She continued playing supporting roles in TV series and movies before landing a recurring role in ‘The Frankenstein Chronicles’. Vanessa’s performances continued to be lauded by many. Her breakthrough came when she was cast as Princess Margaret in the popular series ‘The Crown.’ She played the character across two seasons and her performance fetched her a BAFTA award and several nominations.
