Kirstie Louise Alley was an award-winning American actress, comedian and spokesmodel well-known for her performance in the TV series ‘Cheers’ and films like ‘Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan’ and ‘Look Who's Talking’. She initially began as an interior designer but things took a different turn after she participated in the popular NBC game show ‘Match Game’ followed by yet another show ‘Password Plus’. Her breakthrough came with the 1982 American science fiction film ‘Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan’. This was followed by starring roles in other films and TV series. However, her claim to fame came with the NBC sitcom ‘Cheers’ that not only brought her to the limelight but also fetched her a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award. Her second Emmy Award came with the American television film ‘David's Mother’. Over the years, she delivered several power packed performances in films like ‘Drop-Dead Gorgeous’, ‘Look Who's Talking’, ‘Summer School’ and ‘Sibling Rivalry’; and TV series like ‘Veronica's Closet’ and ‘Scream Queens’. She also garnered attention for her endeavours in losing weight including launching and applying the Organic Liaison product line.
