Joe Cornish is an English comedian, writer, radio and television presenter, and director, best known for forming the comedy duo ‘Adam and Joe’ with his long-time partner Adam Buxton. Born and raised in Westminster, London, Joe always aspired to work in the show business and had a strong inclination towards comedy and acting. He met Adam during his school years and since then, they have been working together, and went professional after forming a duo in 1994. However, Joe aspired to become a filmmaker and for that, he attended Bournemouth Film School following his high school completion. Together him and Adam hosted the show ‘The Adam and Joe Show’ from 1996 to 2001 and gained popularity. They then went on forging a hugely successful career as a comedy duo and developed a cult following. Joe, on the other hand, had his eyes set in film direction and for that he assisted famous directors such as Steven Spielberg. He has directed a few episodes of the comedy series’ such as ‘Modern Toss’ and ‘Blunder’. He made his feature film directional debut in 2011 with the film titled ‘Attack the Block’ and later directed the film titled ‘A Kid Who Would Be King’. In addition, he has co-written films such as ‘Ant-Man’ and ‘The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn’.
