(British Tennis Player) Ernest Renshaw was a British professional tennis player who won the Wimbledon singles title in 1888. He is best remembered for winning the Wimbledon men's doubles title on five occasions along with his twin brother William Renshaw. The modern playing style of the Renshaw brothers, which came to be known as the Renshaw Rush during the 1880s, helped popularize tennis.
