Description: (Pop Singer-Songwriter Known for Her Album 'Visions')

Claire Elise Boucher, better recognized by her stage name Grimes, is a Canadian musician, songwriter, record producer and visual artist who stormed into the music industry in 2010 with her two albums 'Geidi Primes' and 'Halfaxa', both of which were received positively by critics. She is best known for her self-described ADD music which shifts frequently and dramatically. Her music is marked by an electric mix of various musical styles with elements of art pop, synthpop, witch house, baroque pop, dream pop, ambient, and electro-R&B. Her third studio album, 'Visions', released in 2012, was nominated for the 'Polaris Prize' and won the 'Juno Award' in the category 'Electronic Album of the Year'. It took her three years to release her next album, 'Art Angels' (2015), which lived up to the hype its predecessor created and received nominations for two 'Juno Awards' for 'Alternative Album of the Year' and the 'Recording Package of the Year', apart from another 'Polaris Prize' nomination.
