Ludovico Einaudi is an eminent Italian pianist and music composer. At the start of his career, Einaudi only composed classical music, but later moved on to other genres like pop, rock, world music and folk music. He was trained at the Conservatorio Verdi, which is a college of music in Milan. Einaudi has composed many scores for films as well as trailers; some of the prominent ones are: ‘This Is England’, ‘The Intouchables’ and ‘I’m Still Here’. He has won the Grolla d’oro, one of the most ancient film awards in Italy, for best soundtrack in year 1996 for ‘Acquario’. Along with this, he has given music to TV series like ‘Doctor Zhivago’. He has also come up with a number of notable solo albums of piano and orchestra, such as ‘I Giorni’ in 2001, ‘Nightbook’ in 2009, and ‘In a Time Lapse’ in 2013. His latest studio album, ‘Elements’, was released in October 2015. .
