Ayane Sakura is a prominent Japanese voice actress. Interested in theatre and acting from a young age, Sakura dabbled in acting before she realized that her calling lies in voiceovers. At this point, she decided to embark a career as a professional voice actor. She made her debut in 2010 with the TV series ‘Oreimo: My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute?’ and her versatility earned her more roles in the future. Her skills not only earned her TV projects, but she has also voiced films, and video games. Her most notable works include the movie ‘To the Forest of Firefly Lights’, the TV series ‘My Hero Academia’ and ‘Psycho-Pass,’ and the video games ‘Langrisser Mobile’ and ‘Onmyoji’. Her performances have earned her both critical and popular acclaim; she won the Best Supporting Actress award at the 12th Seiyu Award Ceremony in 2018.
