Robert Loggia was an American actor, best remembered for playing Sam Ransom in the 1985 American courtroom thriller ‘Jagged Edge.’ His performance in the film earned him an ‘Academy Award’ nomination. He is also remembered for playing Frank Lopez in the 1983 Brian De Palma-directed film ‘Scarface.’ Loggia won the prestigious ‘Saturn Award’ for ‘Best Supporting Actor’ for playing Mr. MacMillan in the 1988 fantasy comedy film ‘Big.’ In his illustrious career, which spanned over six decades, Loggia appeared in many hit films and TV series and also voiced prominent characters in a couple of video games, including ‘Grand Theft Auto III.’ In 2010, he was awarded the ‘Ellis Island Medal of Honor’ for promoting human welfare.
