Kim So-yeon is a South Korean actress best known for her successful career in the South Korean entertainment industry. Appearing in many successful TV series, films and variety shows has made her one of the best known Korean celebrities ever. She has also received several awards for her performances over the years. Initially, she became famous by winning a beauty pageant as a teenager and she did so against her parents’ wish. She then started acting in TV series such as ‘Dinosaur Teacher’ and ‘Soonpoong Clinic’ in the mid 90’s, while she was still a teenager.
