Tyler Mane is a Canadian actor and retired professional wrestler. He is best known for playing Sabretooth in the American superhero film ‘X-Men.’ Mane started his career as a professional wrestler and competed in promotions, such as ‘All Japan Pro Wrestling,’ ‘World Championship Wrestling’ (WCW), and ‘Universal Wrestling Federation’ (UWF). In 1990, he won the ‘World's Strongest Tag Determination League New Wave Award’ for his performance in the ‘Real World Tag League.’ In 1991, he was named in the ‘500 best singles wrestlers of the year’ list by popular American magazine ‘Pro Wrestling Illustrated’ (PWI). Mane retired from wrestling in 1996 and started focusing on his film career. He went on to appear in popular movies, such as ‘X-Men,’ ‘Halloween,’ and ‘Troy.’ He has also played several roles in television series and films.
