Kim Coates is a Canadian-American actor who has worked in over 130 films and television shows in his illustrious career. Equally popular in both Canada and America, he has appeared in numerous Canadian films and television shows apart from his work in Hollywood and American television productions. The versatile actor is most famous for his portrayal of ‘Alexander "Tig" Trager’ in the long-running crime series ‘Sons of Anarchy’. He later appeared in the Canadian television show ‘Bad Blood,’ which earned him further popularity as a small screen star. Coates began his career as a stage actor and has featured in many popular stage shows, including Jez Butterworth's play ‘Jerusalem,’ and has won the Outstanding Performance by a Male in a Principal Role – Play (Large Theatre) Award at the Dora Awards.
