The versatile actor is most famous for his portrayal of ‘Alexander "Tig" Trager’ in the long-running crime series ‘Sons of Anarchy’. Coates began his career as a stage actor and has featured in many popular stage shows, including Jez Butterworth's play ‘Jerusalem,’ and has won the Outstanding Performance by a Male in a Principal Role – Play (Large Theatre) Award at the Dora Awards.
