Courtney Michelle Love is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and visual artist. In her career spanning over four decades, she has earned immense popularity worldwide for her singing talents as well as her acting credits. She is also known for her controversial lifestyle and her much publicized but ill-fated marriage to Kurt Cobain. As a singer, she formed the band ‘Hole’. They released multiple albums, such as ‘Pretty on the Inside’ and ‘Celebrity Skin’. As an actress, she made her debut with a role in the short film ‘Club Vatican’. She made her feature film debut with a supporting role in the biopic ‘Sid and Nancy’. The film was a commercial failure but was reviewed positively by critics. She gained much appreciation for her role in the biopic ‘The People vs. Larry Flynt’ and won several awards and nominations for her performance. Other significant works in her career include a main role in the drama film ‘Julie Johnson’, for which she won the ‘LA Outfest Award for Best Actress’. She has also co-authored a manga series named ‘Princess Ai’.
