Cheryl Burke is an American professional dancer, choreographer, live-stage artist, model, entrepreneur, and motivational speaker. Initially trained in ballet, she later grew an interest in ballroom dance and won accolades around the world. Burke's professional career began when she was scouted by an ‘ABC’ agent and then made her an entry into the dance reality show 'Dancing with the Stars.' She won both the second and the third seasons of the show, becoming the first female professional to win two seasons consecutively. She subsequently participated in 19 more seasons, the 28th season being her last. Burke has also participated in 'I Can Do That' and 'Dance Moms.' She owns a clothing line, has released a series of workout DVDs, and has appeared in a string of TV commercials. Burke has also published her autobiography, providing a detailed account of being molested in the past. She is associated with several charitable organizations and supports victims of child abuse.
