An American actress and author, Adrienne is the star of some cult classic horror movies. Starting out as a dancer she worked her way to glory as a genre actress in feature films. She is known for her theatrical performance in the Broadway musical ‘Grease’ as the character of determined and resolute Rizzo. Her role as the daughter of Bea Arthur’s character in the television sitcom ‘Maude’ is also considered as one of her important works. After being cast by her then husband in the horror film ‘Fog’; which became a commercial success she was cast in various other sci-fi thrillers. She also appeared in comic roles in ‘The Cannonball Run’ and ‘Back to School’. Her other known works include the character of Catwoman, for which she rendered her voice, in the animated batman series. Continuing her tryst with animation she gave voice to the villainous character of Helga Von Guggen. She has also authored three books including an autobiography ‘There Are Worse Things I Could Do’.
