Danny Huston is an American actor, writer and director, best known for starring in films like ‘Ivans Xtc’ and ‘The Constant Gardner’. He was born into an renowned film family. His father John Huston was a popular writer and director, while his grandfather Walter Huston was an Academy Award-winning actor. Following his high school graduation, Danny enrolled into the ‘London Film School’ to learn the intricacies of filmmaking. Before his acting career took off, he was more interested in direction. He made his directorial debut in 1988 with the comedy film ‘Mr. North’, which was produced by his father. The failure of the film along with that of his second directorial venture ‘Becoming Colette’ had him rethink his career. He eventually made his acting debut in the 1995 film ‘Leaving Las Vegas’.
