John Lithgow is a veteran American actor, comedian, poet, as well as a singer who has appeared in over hundred film and television productions in the last five decades. Lithgow is popularly known for playing the role of ‘Dick Solomon’ in the NBC sitcom ‘3rd Rock from the Sun’ for which he received an Emmy Award and a Golden Globes Award.
