Chad L. Coleman is a TV, film, and stage actor, best known for his performances in the series ‘The Wire’ and ‘The Walking Dead’ and the video game ‘Left 4 Dead 2.’ Raised in a foster home, Coleman started studying drama as a youth. He worked as a video cameraman during his service in the ‘United States Army.’ He did several bit roles in on-screen productions before getting his breakthrough with the role of ‘Dennis "Cutty" Wise’ in the ‘HBO’ crime-drama series ‘The Wire.’ In the ensuing years, he starred in other TV productions, such as the series ‘The Walking Dead’ and the movie ‘Monday Night Mayhem.’ He also guest-featured in series such as ‘Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles’ and ‘In Plain Sight.’ He has lent his voice to the web series ‘Electric City’ and the video game ‘Left 4 Dead 2.’ He has also been seen in films such as ‘Brother to Brother,’ ‘The Green Hornet,’ and ‘Horrible Bosses.’ He has been part of short films such as ‘The Gilded Six Bits’ and ‘Making Lemonade.’ His present TV features include recurring roles in the series ‘The Expanse’ and ‘The Orville.’
