Vince Gilligan is an acclaimed and successful American writer, producer and director. He is best known as the creator of the very popular and critically appreciated television series, Breaking Bad, which ran from 2008 to 2013. The story about a terminally ill science teacher setting up a meth lab to support his family captivated the audience not just in the United States but all over the world. The series is said to be one of the greatest television shows ever. He also wrote and directed several episodes of the series and won many awards for it, including multiple Emmy awards. After the huge success of the show, he co-created the crime drama television series, Better Call Saul, which too turned out to be popular and successful.
