Kristoffer Polaha is an American film and television actor best known for his long association with Hallmark Channel which saw him in lead roles in several TV movies including four Christmas specials. He played detective Travis Burke in four telefilms in the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries series 'Mystery 101' and also acted in other Hallmark movies like 'Dater's Handbook', 'Hearts of Christmas', 'Rocky Mountain Christmas', 'Pearl in Paradise', 'A Small Town Christmas' and 'Double Holiday'. Early on in his career, he gained recognition for his role as Jason Matthews in 'North Shore'. He then became popular for roles like Nathaniel 'Baze' Bazile in 'Life Unexpected' and Henry Butler in 'Ringer'. On the big screen, he starred as John Galt in the sci-fi film 'Atlas Shrugged Part III: Who Is John Galt?' and played Michael Truett in the Christian drama film 'Run the Race'. A practicing Christian, he considers his back-to-back roles in Hallmark Christmas movies a blessing and loves to work on Hallmark's family-friendly movies because he can watch those with his young children.
