Description: (Singer-Songwriter)

Joel Adams, born Joel Gonçalves, is an Australian singer-songwriter, best known for his debut single, ‘Please Don’t Go,’ which was released in 2015. Born and raised in Brisbane, Australia, Joel became a music enthusiast quite early in life. His interest in music was due to his parents, who were hardcore music lovers. He grew up listening to bands such as ‘Led Zeppelin’ and musicians such as James Taylor and Al Green. He also started making his own music when he was 11 years old. Although he was initially not too serious about a career in music, he decided to audition for ‘The X Factor’ at the last minute. He became popular singing a cover for Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney’s ‘The Girl is Mine’ during his auditions. The song became viral on the internet, and Joel received rave reviews for it. He then wrote ‘Please Don’t Go’ for a talent hunt contest organized at his school. The single became a viral sensation, and for many weeks, it remained the most-streamed single in the world. In October 2018, he released another single, ‘Fake Friends.’ He is currently working on his debut studio album.
