Barry Charles Scheck is a well-known American lawyer who came into limelight while serving on O.J. Simpson's criminal defense team, helping win an acquittal in the highly publicized murder case. He is a co-founder and director of The Innocence Project as well as a professor at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law of Yeshiva University. Widely considered as one of the world’s finest criminal defense attorneys, Scheck has also served as the president of National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers in the past and has taught legal ethics, forensic science and trial practice to law students, attorneys and judges.
